There was a historic boat tour you could take down the canal that donkeys pulled you down. When we saw the boat they were bringing it up the canal into different water levels... All we saw was a top of a raft and guys all dressed up in historic wear.... couldn't figure out what was going on at first till the boat was raised up by the water level by shutting off the flow.... u can see it in the second pic. Then it came up to a height to see there were people in the boat. So that solved that but there were donkeys roped up in a pen and I kept saying whats up with the donkeys.... well we walked away and came back and sure enough we saw they pulled the boat in the wider part of the canal.... sorry boring story but u dont see it every day.

The water was so dirty! we saw huge carp and this cute turtle floating around.

This was down at the riverside.... there were tons of boaters on the nasty brown river that just pulled up to dock and eat at the restaurants. Interesting.

Then Skye took me to the famous market... kinda like the pike place market but not as cool. But I saw a lot of DC I havent seen before. The neighborhood the market is in is on Capitol Hill. It was an awesome place to walk around in. Tons of brownstones.... gorgeous yards... heres just a shot down one road.

Dad was this the car you drove in college? I remember you saying something about 3 circles on the side.

These were two images of the Unions side. The trees were a grouping that they used to locate themselves.
