Three Little Girlees
Hey Hey Hey.... I went to St. Louis this weekend to a photography workshop with my most favorite photographer..... I think I had stars in my eyes all weekend. I totally have a girl crush on Michelle who is Untamed HeArt in MO. It was 100+ degrees with 100% humidity... well I guess its better than ran. But OMG it was hot! The models were sweating I was soaked and the energy was sucked out of all of us. I was so wiped out by the time I came home. I will post the images in a week or so of the workshop. But on top of that I got to see Shannon, Meadow, Sienna, and Aria. We took total advantage of my trip! I have a few posted on my website blog.... come and see. http://www.magnoliastreetphoto.blogspot.com/ Shannon and I dragged those little girls around in that heat all day until I had to leave.... oh boy what a day! Thank you Shan for all ur support.... hope u like them!

Great Falls
Girlie Friends....
These are my MD buddies... or as I like to call them My HoOcHes. These 4 women are the ones I spend all my spare time with. I have been truly blessed with the friends that I have met out here. I just wanted everyone to meet them too.
This is Sarah... I have referred to her many times and love her to death. Sarah lives across the street, and it seems we have too much in common. From dogs to photography to our Twilight obsession. This nite we were out and witnessed the drunkest girl ever, with too short of a dress and well if you want to hear the funny story you will need to email me..... its a good one.
Dawn.... I met Dawn cuz she's my realtor. Thanks Melody for finding her for me. Dawn and I hit it off from the beginning. She is a dog lover also, and loves the outdoors, one day we might get invited to her cabin in WV. (just checking if ur reading my blog Dawn)
Oh and Skye... from the moment she opened her big sarcastic mouth, I knew we'd get along just fine. Skye is in my photography class in WSP. Her hubby, Shannon, is in Afghanistan and I would love for you to say a prayer for him. He is just over half way through his tour and will be home hopefully by Thanksgiving.
And Sherry, the biggest hooch of them all. Just kidding. Im sure u might recognize her from all the family pics Ive been taking of her two beautiful little girls. This is us at the GDIT ball, all dressed up but u wouldn't know it by Ryans photographer skills. (see my vintage earrings) Sherry has been truly supportive of my photography and a ton of fun to antique with.

Lighting Class
One of my final courses in a studio lighting class. It was a commercial product type class that wasn't too exciting but I had a really great group of girls to work with.... Skye, Melissa, and Tanya. We almost had too much fun some nights. We had different items first glass, then metal and then we had a ad template.

This weekend I went to see Skye in DC. Skye is my classmate from photography school and we decided to venture out to Georgetown for a beautiful day. I saw the famous staircase from the scary movie.... never watched it but I guess it was a popular spot. We didn't go onto campus but tooled around the canal and the dock.
There was a historic boat tour you could take down the canal that donkeys pulled you down. When we saw the boat they were bringing it up the canal into different water levels... All we saw was a top of a raft and guys all dressed up in historic wear.... couldn't figure out what was going on at first till the boat was raised up by the water level by shutting off the flow.... u can see it in the second pic. Then it came up to a height to see there were people in the boat. So that solved that but there were donkeys roped up in a pen and I kept saying whats up with the donkeys.... well we walked away and came back and sure enough we saw they pulled the boat in the wider part of the canal.... sorry boring story but u dont see it every day.

The water was so dirty! we saw huge carp and this cute turtle floating around.

This was down at the riverside.... there were tons of boaters on the nasty brown river that just pulled up to dock and eat at the restaurants. Interesting.

Then Skye took me to the famous market... kinda like the pike place market but not as cool. But I saw a lot of DC I havent seen before. The neighborhood the market is in is on Capitol Hill. It was an awesome place to walk around in. Tons of brownstones.... gorgeous yards... heres just a shot down one road.
